Bryant Public Schools is proud to welcome our newest School Board member, Tanikus Farmer, who was appointed to fill the At-Large position previously held by Patrice Muldrow. She will serve through the next board election in March 2026.

A Saline County resident for nearly 20 years, Tanikus and her husband, Lynn, have been deeply involved in our community—volunteering in the district, supporting youth events, and serving on multiple committees. Tanikus has a heart for service—she’s held numerous PTO roles, coordinated varsity football meals, and continues her commitment through the Junior Auxiliary, serving chapters across south Arkansas. The Bryant Sports Medicine team is putting safety first! 🏥💪 Today, our team rehearsed emergency response procedures, including equipment removal and cold tub protocols, as part of our Emergency Action Plan.

We were proud to welcome athletic trainers and emergency responders from Benton, Bauxite, and Harmony Grove. Working together helps ensure that all of Saline County is prepared to respond quickly and effectively in case of an emergency. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make student safety a top priority! 💙

Congratulations to the Bryant High School girls volleyball team for earning the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT! Even more impressive: they landed on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, placing them in the top 20% of team GPAs nationwide!

Salt Bowl 2025: Bringing the Tradition Home 🧂🏈 For years, the Salt Bowl has been more than just a game—it’s a tradition that unites our communities and schools in a night of excitement and hometown pride. While we are so thankful to the staff at War Memorial for the experience they have provided to our student athletes for all these years, after listening to families and considering the future of this event, we’re making a big move—back home to Saline County! Hosting the game in Saline County allows us to celebrate right where it all began. The experience will be smaller in scale but full of the traditional rivalry between our two schools and communities. As the home team for the 2025 game, Benton will host the event in their athletic facility on Friday, August 29. There are countless individuals from our communities and War Memorial who have contributed their time and effort over the years. We appreciate their dedication and look forward to working with our community partners to make the Salt Bowl rivalry a truly memorable event. Watch for additional details this summer. We’re excited to take this step forward while honoring the history that has brought us together for so many years. Let’s make Salt Bowl 2025 a new tradition—right here at home.
