Dear Bryant Family,

I know many of you are hearing reports on the news concerning COVID vaccinations for school staff. I don't have all the information to give you at this time, but I do have some information to share with you.

Some of our staff are able to sign up for vaccinations now because their positions have been identified in the first group. For example, our school nurses that signed up for the vaccine have received it. Our occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech pathologists, behavioral health workers, athletic trainers, and social workers, can sign up now to receive the vaccination at the following website:  https://bryantfamilyrx.com/covid/ . The groups that were chosen to receive vaccines now were set by the state.

Bryant Family Pharmacy is our local partner that will be administering the vaccine clinics. With the information we have now, we know that we should be in the second group (1b) to receive the vaccine. Jon Martin, owner of Bryant Family Pharmacy, has graciously agreed to set up a Bryant Staff Only Clinic. Jon and his staff are working hard to administer the vaccines and are making great progress towards completing vaccines for all individuals that are included in 1a. This means that our group (1b) should be ready very soon.

The Bryant School Staff COVID Vaccine Clinic will be conducted on a Friday evening (4-8) and all day on the following Saturday. I can't tell you what Friday and Saturday at this time, but wanted you to know what the schedule will look like. Hopefully, it will be very soon. When we receive the information about a specific date we will send it out immediately, along with the forms you will need to have completed when you arrive for your vaccine. (You can go to the link above to get information about the vaccine, but please do NOT sign up at this time).

Before we left for the holiday break, a survey was sent out to everyone about interest in the vaccine. I realize that some may have changed their mind. In the near future there will be a FINAL survey sent to everyone by email. If you want to participate in the vaccination clinic that will be for Bryant Staff ONLY, you must choose that option on the survey.

The vaccine will be given at NO cost to staff. Please note that it is your decision on whether or not you choose to take the vaccine, but we strongly encourage it.

When we have more information, it will be sent out. Please be watching your email for the survey. It is very important that you complete the survey so you can participate in the Bryant Staff Clinic. Mr. Martin asked that staff members NOT sign up for Clinics that are open to the general public since they are hosting a Clinic for our staff only.
