The Bryant School District needs bus drivers! Drivers earn extra money each month and become active members of a great retirement system, Arkansas Teacher Retirement System (ATRS). Opportunities are available for morning only, afternoon only, or both morning/afternoon routes.

Salary ranges from $17.39 an hour (beginning) to $21.98 hourly on the high end. Pay is determined by experience, length of route, and number of routes driven daily. Plus, bonuses are available each semester!

It is the goal of the Bryant Public School’s Transportation Department to provide a safe, clean, and dependable means of transportation for the district’s K-12 students to and from our schools, facilities, and district-sponsored activities. It is also a goal to practice and reasonably maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of all the district’s bus routes and field trips.

Commercial Driver’s License – Get your Class B CDL Packet

In order to obtain a class B CDL you must pass:

  • General Knowledge

  • Air Brakes

  • Passenger

  • School Bus

Go to the Revenue Office and get a CDL application which costs $50.00.  Along with the application, they will give you a study book and a school bus study guide.  After you take and pass all four tests you will come back to Bryant Public Schools for training and testing.
