Coach Kirk Bock Named Athletic Director
Coach Kirk Bock has been named the new Athletic Director for Bryant Public Schools. The Bryant School Board approved his appointment on March 14. He currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director and the Head Assistant Football Coach at Bryant High School.
Coach Bock will replace Mike Lee, who is taking a maintenance supervisor position at the South Conway School District on July 1.
Coach Bock joined Bryant Schools in 2008. As the former Head Baseball Coach, he led the Hornets to four state championships. The Hornet Football team earned five state championships while he served as Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. In his 33 year coaching career, Coach Bock has earned an impressive 16 state championships.
Coach Bock has been named the American Baseball Coaches Association National Coach of the Year three times. His most recent honor was the 2019 Frank Broyles Award, recognizing him as the Assistant Football Coach of the Year for Arkansas.
“I am excited about this new challenge in life. My career has been spent coaching students; now, I will be able to invest in our coaches. Coach Mike Lee is irreplaceable. My hope is to continue his vision in making Bryant Athletics the best program in the state,” said Coach Bock.
Coach Bock’s new role as Athletic Director will begin on July 1, 2023.
