Point of Contact Hours During Christmas Break
The holiday season is always a great time to make memories with our loved ones. Our celebrations may look a little different this year, but the time to enjoy our family and friends is well earned after the challenges of the first semester.
Our District Point of Contact (POC) will have limited hours over the next two weeks. We still encourage our families to remain diligent in reporting positive cases even when school is closed. We must continue notifying close contacts so they do not spread COVID during the holidays. Call 501-414-6647 during the open hours or email email@example.com at any time.
THE ADH COVID-19 Call Center will also be available for any questions or concerns. Visit this link for holiday hours: bryantschools.org/page/adh-covid-call-center.
The district phone line will reopen on January 2-3 for those who have had a positive COVID-19 test or have been designated as a close contact over the break. Rather than waiting until the phone line reopens, families may email firstname.lastname@example.org.
These individuals will not be able to attend school until their isolation or quarantine period is over. New guidelines released by the Arkansas Department of Health allow a return to school/work sooner if no symptoms have been reported. For more information, visit bit.ly/2L8RgsK.
We continue to rely on cooperation from families in reporting positive cases and identifying close contacts. The better we are with our prevention strategies, the longer we will be able to keep schools open and have students attend school in-person.
Our Hornet families are important to us as we support health and safety precautions whether in school or on break. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
