Bryant, AR – Amanda Bradley, newly named 2025 Arkansas Quiz Bowl 7A Junior High Coach of the Year, has led the Bryant Junior High School Quiz Bowl team to an exceptional season.
Bradley, who stepped into the head coach role in January 2025 after serving as assistant coach since 2019, brought a wealth of experience to the team, including her previous coaching stint at Jessieville from 2015 to 2017.
The team earned 1st place at the Friends of Quiz Bowl Tournament on December 7 at Little Rock Central High School, remaining undefeated all day. They repeated the feat with another undefeated victory at the Bulldog Invitational in White Hall on January 18.
At the 7A West Central Regional Tournament, the team placed 2nd, securing a spot at the 7A Arkansas Governor’s Quiz Bowl State Tournament, where they earned a 3rd place finish. Team captain Ayden Tucker and standout player Gavin McManigal were both named to the 7A State All Star Team.
"What I enjoy most about coaching Quiz Bowl is getting to work with bright and creative students who are excited to extend learning beyond the classroom," said Bradley. "Our team has become a tight-knit family with students forming strong friendships along the way. We’re dedicated, hardworking, and bring a positive, competitive spirit to everything we do."
