The Bryant High School Theatre Department invites the community to step into the delightfully dark and hilariously heartfelt world of The Addams Family Musical School Edition. Performances will take place in the Bryant High School auditorium, featuring a talented student cast bringing this iconic and spooky family to life on stage.
The Addams Family musical tells the original story of Wednesday Addams (Nayeli Torres), who has fallen in love with a “normal” young man named Lucas Beineke (Carter Sullivan) and plans to introduce him and his parents to her ghoulish family at a dinner party. The plot revolves around Gomez Addams (Eric Turner) trying to keep the engagement a secret from his wife, Morticia Addams (Nyla Newton), while the entire family grapples with the awkward clash between their macabre ways and the normalcy of the Beineke family. The musical is a comedic look at how families change and grow, exploring themes of love, acceptance, and the idea that sometimes being different isn’t so bad.
