As we enter the final stretch of the school year, students across our district will soon begin the ATLAS content assessments. These state assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned and how well they understand grade-level standards.
ATLAS results provide valuable insight that helps our educators support each student’s academic growth. Scores may be used to determine needed interventions, enrichment opportunities, and specific course placements for the 2026–2027 school year.
Because these assessments are so important in your child’s academic journey, we ask for your partnership in ensuring students are present and on time each day of testing. Please avoid scheduling appointments, travel, or other events that may cause your child to miss a testing session.

How Families Can Help
Families play a vital role in helping students feel confident and prepared. You can support your child by encouraging them to:
Get a good night’s sleep
Eat a healthy breakfast at home (or take advantage of FREE breakfast at school)
Arrive at school on time
Do their best and stay positive
If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher—they are key partners in your child’s success. Additional resources are also available in the ATLAS Family Toolkit.
