students with their medals

Bryant High School students earned nine total medals at the 2026 SkillsUSA Arkansas State Championships, continuing a strong tradition of excellence in media and design competitions.

Leading the way, juniors Jon Luke Bles and Carter Sullivan captured first place in Audio Production, earning the program’s third gold medal in five years. Their state championship win qualifies them to compete at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the Television Video Production category, seniors Christianne Cain and Katlyn Ridgell earned the silver medal, placing second in the state.

Bryant students also brought home silver in Video News Production, where seniors Matthew Anderson, Mady Calhoun, Caden Key, and Isai Perez placed second.

In Pin Design, sophomore Teya Romero earned a bronze medal, adding to the school’s impressive medal count.

This year’s results mark the fifth consecutive year Bryant’s TV Production and Graphic Design students have qualified for national competition.

The district’s Audio Production students also have a recent history of success at the national level. In 2024, Bryant students returned from nationals with a first-place finish and a national championship.

Bryant Public Schools congratulates all of the students and staff involved in this outstanding accomplishment.
