Track and Field champions

Bryant Track and Field athletes delivered a dominant performance at the 2026 6A State Championship Meet at Jonesboro High School, bringing home multiple state championships, runner-up finishes and new school records against the state’s top competition.

The Hornets sprint teams led the way with two state championship relay performances. The boys 4x100 meter relay team of DJ Gooding, Keenan Latin, Christian Jones and Deandre Brewer captured the 6A state title while setting a new school record with a time of 41.81 seconds.

Bryant also claimed another state championship in the 4x200 meter relay as Keigon Garrison, Ethan Kantner, Deandre Brewer and Christian Jones crossed the finish line first in 1:27.50.

Brewer added an individual state championship in the 100 meter dash, breaking the school record with a winning time of 10.71 seconds. Bryant also dominated the event with Keenan Latin finishing runner-up and Christian Jones placing seventh overall.

The Hornets continued their success in the 400 meter dash with a 1-2 finish. Ethan Kantner won the 6A state championship in 48.97 seconds, while Keigon Garrison finished just behind him in second place.

Bryant athletes also earned several podium finishes in field events and girls competition. Terriun Jones placed second in the triple jump, while D’Ariah Harris finished runner-up in the high jump.

For the Lady Hornets, the 4x200 meter relay team of Charnise Smith, Graci Lewis, D’Ariah Harris and Cicely Russ earned a runner-up finish while setting a new school record with a time of 1:41.55. Russ also placed third in the 200 meter dash.

The performances capped off another strong showing for Bryant Track and Field as the Hornets and Lady Hornets continued to make their mark on the state stage.
