Bryant School District is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our Advanced Placement (AP) students and teachers. From impressive exam scores to prestigious College Board honors, our Hornets continue to demonstrate what is possible through hard work, challenging coursework, and a commitment to excellence.
Hornets Excel on AP Exams
In May 2026, 896 Bryant School District students in grades 9–12 took an incredible 1,744 AP exams. The results are something to celebrate:
• 561 students earned a score of 3 or higher on at least one AP exam
• 1,019 of the 1,744 AP exams taken received a score of 3 or higher
Bryant School District offers students 26 AP courses to choose from during their high school years. Advanced Placement courses are college-level courses taught by Bryant School District teachers. Throughout the year, students experience rigorous instruction, challenging content, and college-level expectations. At the end of each course, students take an AP exam provided by the College Board.
AP exams are scored on a scale of 1–5, and a score of 3 or higher may qualify students to earn college credit while they are still in high school, depending on the college or university they attend. Many Bryant students graduate with significant college credit already completed, giving them the opportunity to save both time and money as they pursue their postsecondary education.
Former Bryant AP students have also shared that their AP experiences helped prepare them for the demands of college. The rigor, study habits, expectations, and challenges of AP coursework provide students with valuable preparation for college-level academics.
Celebrating Our 2026 AP Scholars
The College Board AP Program recognizes students each year for exceptional achievement on AP exams. We are proud to celebrate Bryant High School students who earned recognition at all three AP Scholar levels in 2026.
148 students earned AP Scholar status awarded to students who earn scores of 3 or higher on at least three AP exams
53 students earned AP Scholar with Honor status, awarded to students who earn scores of 3 or higher on at least four AP exams and achieve an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken
60 BHS students earned AP Scholar with Distinction status, awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on at least five AP exams.
AP Capstone Achievements
Bryant students also have the opportunity to participate in AP Seminar and AP Research through the AP Capstone program. These courses help students develop important skills in research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing, and presentation.
7 Students: AP Seminar and Research Certificate — Students earn this certificate by receiving scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research.
11 Students: AP Capstone Diploma — Students earn the AP Capstone Diploma by receiving scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and four additional AP exams of their choosing.
These achievements represent countless hours of learning, studying, teaching, encouraging, and persevering. We congratulate our AP students for accepting the challenge and pursuing excellence, and we thank our AP teachers for providing students with rigorous, high-quality learning experiences.
We also extend our appreciation to the staff members, parents, guardians, and community members who support Bryant students and the many programs and opportunities available throughout our district.
Together, we are preparing students for college, careers, and the opportunities ahead.
Congratulations, Hornets! We are #HornetProud!
