Bryant High School is making history with 61 students participating in the school’s first-ever Associate Degree cohort.
Through a partnership between Bryant Public Schools and Arkansas State University Three Rivers, the students are working toward earning an associate degree while also completing the requirements for their high school diploma.
Bryant is the first public school district in Saline County to offer students this opportunity, giving students another pathway to get a head start on college and their future careers.
By completing college-level coursework while still in high school, students can gain valuable experience, earn credentials and potentially reduce the amount of time and cost required to complete a four-year degree after graduation.
The 61 students in this inaugural cohort are helping set the standard for the program and paving the way for future Bryant students to take advantage of the same opportunity.
The Associate Degree program is another example of Bryant Public Schools’ continued focus on preparing students for success beyond high school by providing meaningful college and career opportunities.
