Congratulations to our own Bryant Teacher of the Year, Amber Leaton. Mrs. Leaton is one of the four finalists for 2023 Arkansas Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Leaton, along with the other 12 regional finalists, were honored today at the Governor's Mansion. Her parents (Danny and Vicki Westbrook), husband (Justin Leaton), fellow teachers (Tammy Brantley and Monica England), BHS principal Todd Edwards, and Superintendent Karen Walters accompanied Mrs. Leaton at the reception. They were thrilled to hear her name called as a finalist!
Mrs. Leaton is a Bryant High School graduate who has taught at her alma mater since 2012. She is a passionate and devoted educator who strives to promote civic-mindedness through engaging relevant instruction.
