Mr. Christmas’s class had a fantastic time during their recent lab on animal adaptations! 🐾
Students explored how adaptations can help animals survive by participating in a hands-on activity. They picked up beads from different colored paper to observe whether they collected more beads that stood out or blended in—just like predators spotting prey in the wild!
The class was organized into important roles: hunter, timer, counter, and recorder. Every student had the opportunity to rotate through each job, making sure everyone was engaged and part of the scientific process.
It was a fun and interactive way to bring science to life, and the students did an amazing job! 👏

This week, Coach Bond's students tackled a timed quick write about the Peloponnesian War. In a short amount of time, they had to break it down into three stages: what led up to the war, what happened during it, and what came after.
They did an outstanding job explaining the causes, key events, and outcomes. We are incredibly proud of the effort, focus, and knowledge they demonstrated!
To celebrate their hard work, these students earned meal certificates from Texas Roadhouse:
⭐ Natalie Haynie
⭐ Kristin Smith
⭐ Davis Ritchey
⭐ Jacob Fonville
A big thank you to Texas Roadhouse and D1 Training Bryant for supporting our students and helping us reward academic excellence. We appreciate businesses that invest in our kids! 👏📚
