🎉 Yesterday, we had the joy of honoring Mrs. Lisa Price, one of our 6th grade history teachers, as she celebrated her retirement with her family by her side. Mrs. Price has been a guiding, caring presence at Bethel for many years. 🥣🎉 Tuesday, Mr. Nivens, Mr. Sims, and Officer B. finally made good on their promise to eat pickle juice, BBQ, and hot sauce cereal to celebrate our students and staff crushing our THV11 Summer Cereal Drive goal!
Special shoutout to Tyler J., our top student donor, who had the honor of pouring the “delicious” cereal in front of the whole school. Our goal was 350 boxes and we ended with a whopping 580! 🔥 Way to go, Bethel Hornets!

Our 6th grade students got their hands dirty in the best way by planting 6 new trees around our campus! 🌳🌱 Yesterday was a special day in science class as they put their learning into action and gave back to the environment. 🎉📚 Yesterday, we celebrated 46 Bethel students and staff who completed the 1st annual READ15 challenge! The Bethel, BMS, and BJHS libraries worked together to challenge our Hornets to read 15 books of their choice this school year! This week, we were honored to host a special Graduation Reception in the library for our former Bethel students. It was a heartwarming time of hugs, memories, and celebration. Several staff members were surprised and deeply moved to receive Life Impact Awards from these amazing graduates. ✨📖 Our 7th grade English classes brought the novel "The Giver" to life this week with a special "Ceremony of Twelve" in the library! After students applied for their new community roles, Chief Elder Chastain gave them their lifelong assignments. Some were happy with their new jobs, while others chose to reapply 😉.
