Mandatory Health Screenings

VIRTUAL PARENTS: Arkansas laws state that each school district shall conduct mandatory health screenings to detect any defect of sight, hearing, or condition that would prevent a pupil from the benefits of school work. These screenings include vision, hearing, scoliosis and BMIs.

If your student is participating in virtual (off site) learning and he/she is due for mandatory health screenings, please contact your student’s school nurse to schedule a time for the screenings to be done. You may wish to coordinate a time when the student will already be on campus (such as testing or obtaining meals).

Please see the following information about mandatory screenings to determine if your student is due for health screenings this school year.
