📣 NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL AT BRYANT JUNIOR HIGH
We are excited to welcome back former Hornet Tiffany Kent as she joins the Bryant Junior High team in a new leadership role — Assistant Principal!
Mrs. Kent began her career in the Bryant School District in 2013 at Bryant Middle School, where she taught both science and math before serving as the building math interventionist. After over a decade of dedication to Bryant, she briefly stepped away to gain valuable administrative experience — an opportunity that further fueled her passion for leadership.
Mrs. Kent holds a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Central Arkansas, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
Now, she’s back and ready to serve every Hornet, every day at Bryant Junior High! Her mission is to support students and teachers, create opportunities for success, and build strong partnerships with families and the community.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kent and her husband Adam stay busy with their three daughters — Ivie (3rd grade), Sylvie (starting Kindergarten), and Jovie (1.5 years old).
Help us give a warm Hornet welcome to Mrs. Kent!

Please join us in congratulating Robin Gilchrist (CES), Lameria Tripplett (BJHS), Lindsey Holloway (SPES), Susanna Crow (BHS), and Darnell Rancifer (BeMS & BMS) on this incredible achievement!
This accomplishment required:
📚 700+ clinical teaching hours

📝 Coursework, workshops, and in-depth assignments
They are now eligible to sit for the ALTA Competency Exam to become Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALT).
We are #BryantProud of their commitment to our students and literacy excellence.

Bus Route 5: Due to the impact of recent storms, we are unable to travel on portions of Germania. Please expect up to a 25 minute delay, with students arriving home between 4:30-4:45pm today (Monday, April 7). Our apologies for the late notice as we had hoped that Germania would be accessible.

Each spring, we ask our parents and community members to complete a yearly survey, which provides data to help us track progress in meeting our Strategic Plan goals. Parents, check your email for a link to your survey.
We would love to hear from our community members. We sincerely value your input and would appreciate your feedback. We use the information to guide decisions so we can continue to provide the very best education for our Bryant students.

After reviewing the most up to date forecast from the National Weather Service and looking at the forecast for severe weather, Bryant Public Schools will dismiss school early on Wednesday, April 2. We will follow the same early dismissal schedule used for parent-teacher conferences. All after school student activities and practices are canceled. Visit bryantschools.org for more details.
Our district spans 350 square miles, and some bus routes lack safe shelter options in extreme weather. Administrators have carefully considered these factors, and out of an abundance of caution, early dismissal will help ensure that students arrive home safely and that bus drivers can return should conditions worsen.
In the event that severe weather arrives earlier than the prediction of the recent forecast, students and staff will shelter in place until it is deemed safe to dismiss them. Student and staff safety will always come first.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make safety the top priority for students and staff in making these difficult decisions.

Join us in honoring our brave military families and their incredible children this April as we celebrate Month of the Military Child at Bryant Schools!
