🎄💙 FCCLA Giving Back This Christmas 💙🎄
Under the leadership of Mrs. McKnight, our FCCLA members partnered with the local women’s shelter to sponsor a family for Christmas. Through hard work and generosity, students raised over $800 by selling baked goods to help make the holiday brighter for a family in need.

We are so proud of our FCCLA students for showing compassion, teamwork, and the true spirit of the season! ❤️✨

✨ A Message From Ms. Golden ✨

I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for encouraging and supporting your students in the Unified Monthly Challenge. What started as an activity truly grew into a school-wide effort—and I couldn’t be more proud of the collaboration and inclusion it inspired. 💛💙

Every day, I’m seeing more students reaching out, connecting, and engaging with peers who often find social interactions challenging. These moments speak volumes about the compassion, respect, and sense of belonging that define our school community.

Thank you for your commitment to creating an environment where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Your dedication is making a real and lasting difference.

With gratitude,
Ms. Golden

🐾 Archie Days Are the Best Days! 🐾
Our amazing therapy dog, Archie, has been busy spreading love and comfort around our school. 🐶💛

Students absolutely light up when he walks into the room — big smiles, calmer hearts, and so many moments where they feel safe to open up. Archie has a special way of reminding us all that sometimes a wagging tail is the best kind of support.

We’re so grateful for the joy he brings to our building each and every time he visits! ✨💙

Mr. Walton's classes participated in a Thanksgiving-themed breakout activity in the library this week. Students used critical thinking, pattern recognition, and collaboration to unlock the locks; they also had a lot of fun! Luckily, Tom Turkey was pardoned by many of the groups and lived to see another day! 🦃

🇺🇸 Honoring History and Service 🇺🇸
This morning, students and community members from across Saline County came together for the Saline County 250 Commission Honoring Bauxite’s WWII Legacy and our veterans at the Bauxite Historical Museum.

The program included contributions from students across our county:
🇺🇸 Harmony Grove and Glen Rose students led the Pledge of Allegiance.
🇺🇸 Benton High School ROTC presented and posted the colors.
🎶 The Bryant Junior High Hornet Harmony choir, directed by Jordan Murdock, delivered a moving performance of the National Anthem.
🎶 Bauxite students performed musical selections honoring our veterans.
Today’s ceremony also marked the unveiling of a commemorative historical marker recognizing Saline County's vital role in supporting America during World War II, while paying tribute to the veterans of Saline County whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us.
