DES is gearing up for our 2nd annual "House-O-Ween" parade on Thursday, October 31st! Students can show off their creative costumes and house spirit in a spooktacular celebration. We can’t wait to see all the fun, creativity, and excitement!

Don't forget Picture day is Thursday!


Our annual Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Thursday, October 10th. We understand this is also picture day and apologize. Both dates were chosen outside of our control and we are looking for a work around (especially for our littles). Forms are being sent home and need to be returned ASAP to Nurse Amy. We are also looking for volunteers to help this day!

These 4th grade scientists had an exciting time creating their own 3D models of the human brain during GT class! The hands-on project allowed students to explore brain structures and functions while enhancing their teamwork and creativity. It was a fantastic learning experience that brought science to life!

First Grade Fun in P.E. Class!! From energetic games to fun activities, their smiles and laughter filled the gym. It's amazing to see their enthusiasm and teamwork as they explore new ways to stay active and healthy.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For the third year, our district is participating in the #GoGold campaign.
All Hornets are asked to #GoGold on Friday, September 27. Wear gold clothing/accessories or wear a gold ribbon. We are asking students to donate $1 and staff to donate $2. All donations will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Child Life Department to support children with cancer and their families.
