Hello Families! What a beautiful October weekend. The visual changes of Autumn remind us how blessed we truly are to live in Arkansas. We have many events this week...Read our Parent Patriot Press newsletter for all the details. It's Red Ribbon Week Tuesday is our Triple P Parent sessions, "Raising Confident Competent Children". Thursday is our PTO meeting at 5:15 in the gym...followed by our 5:30 Folk Dance Evening. This is for all students in grades 3-5, and their families. Friday is our Book Character Dress up Day. Sunday is our annual Family Fest. Our PTO and Fellowship Church will host this fun time in the parking lot of HCES. There will be a table with Title 1 information. A Note from our HCES Nurse, Ms. Jeanne Crosby... Good morning! If you received a letter regarding vaccinations/kindergarten physicals, remember those have to be done and turned in by Oct. 31st. Or at least have an appointment made by Oct. 31st to have this done. November 1st your child will not be able to attend school. This is state law. If you have received a medical diagnosis letter, please have the doctor's office send a statement for the reason your child is on medication so we can determine if your child needs assistance at school. The week of Oct. 17th I will be doing hearing/vision on Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade students. If your child wears glasses, please make sure they have them for the vision screening. Lastly, if you haven't turned in your medical form to me please do so. This is important information to have on file for any emergencies.
