Hello parents,
This will be the final issue of our Patriot Press: Parent Edition, as our school year comes to a close. What a year to remember! We appreciate your support, and encouragement as this year has been filled with learning, new friends, celebrations, family events, and lots of growth. Our teachers and students have successfully completed another year of focus and attitude to become an EXCEL leader. That is #WhoWeAre.
The Creek has once again been named a National Showcase School (one of only 377 in the nation) and that is no easy feat. Kudos to all of us, for working together to achieve this honor!
Have a wonderful summer...create priceless memories with your family and friends! We will see you in August next year. If you need anything, please call our school office at 501-653-1012. From June 6 to July 18 our HCES office will be closed, so you'll need to contact our district office at 501-847-5600.
Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!

Parents,
It's hard to believe this is our final full week of the 21-22 school year. It's been a year of learning, and a year of growth. We celebrated growth goals with our Popsicles with the Principals on Friday. I am proud of the focus and attitude from our EXCEL Patriots.
Field Day is Friday. Please make sure you let us know if you'll be attending. Your child's teacher shared a form last week that you must complete. To help our day go smoothly, we need your help! To ensure safety, all volunteers/attendees will be given a copy of the day's expectations. Our staff will be there to assist if you have questions.
The PTO has paid $2 for each student to enjoy a snocone. If you'd like to help absorb the $850 cost, you can donate $2 for your child's snocone. Simply put $2 in a baggie/envelope labeled "SNOCONE DONATION-PTO" and send to the office.
Take a close look at this week's Patriot Press: Parent Edition, so you'll be updated on the happenings of our final days of school.
Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!

Parents,
I hope you made fun memories with your family this Easter weekend. We have a busy week...don't miss out!
Our K-2 students will take their end of the year NWEA, our state assessment, starting Tuesday this week. All students need a full night's rest, a nutritious breakfast, and a positive attitude! Set your clocks, and get your child to school on time.
Be sure to sign up to attend our Mother-Son Event, set to begin at 6pm this Thursday evening. Then, Saturday is our HCES Campus Beautification/Clean-Up Day...our Green Team will be joined by the Green Teams from Hillfarm Elementary and Bethel Middle School. We still need items purchased from our Wish List. See this week's issue of our Patriot Press: Parent Edition for more information, and a survey to sign up to help.

Many areas of our community are experiencing power outages, which affect traffic signals. Both the severe weather and traffic signals may impact normal bus drop off times for students. Please do not be concerned if your student is not dropped off at the regular time today.

Hello HCE Families,
Our Capturing Kids Hearts Leadworthy word for April is "Perseverance." How fitting, as we are gearing up to finish this school year strong. We are preparing for NWEA and ACT Aspire assessments as the 21-22 testing season is upon us. Ask your child to tell you about our CKH Student Leadership Mindset Pyramid. We are focusing on our end of year goals and working to meet our projected growth, and do whatever it takes to be an EXCEL student. You'll see a visual inside this week's issue of The Patriot Press: Parent Edition.
