Dear Parents,
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be the principal of Hurricane Creek Elementary. As I enter my 27th year in education, I bring perspective from the eyes of a student, parent, teacher, community member, and administrator. In all of these experiences my focus has remained steady, “Make decisions based on what’s best for the student.”
Saline County is my home, as I have lived here and raised my children here. I am married to Keith Vergason, who is also from this area. We have two adult children, Zane and Hannah, and a son in law, Seth. In our free time you’ll find us at the lake, hanging out with family, or cycling. My favorite childhood quote, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” is the direction for which I steer each student’s behavior. I am confident that is what the world needs more of today.
I look forward to leading this great school as we move toward continued success. I am ready to stand alongside you and our incredible faculty of caring teachers and staff as we provide a safe and quality educational experience for your child. I am confident that together we can make this a positive year!
