It’s almost time to #GoGold! All Hornets are asked to wear gold on Friday, September 23 to bring awareness to childhood cancer. Share photos with the hashtag #HornetsGoGold.
We are also asking students to donate $1 and staff to donate $2. All donations will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Child Life Department to support children with cancer and their families.
Thank you to Hill Farm teacher Tara Begoon and her son Easton, a 7th grade student at Bryant Middle School, for sharing their childhood cancer journey.

Apply NOW for Free and Reduced Meals
The federal USDA waiver that allowed school districts to provide meals at no cost to all students has expired. Families who do not qualify for free or reduced price meals will return to paying full-price for school meals beginning the first day of school, August 22.
Some Students Will Still Qualify, But You Must Apply
We understand this change may cause a financial impact for many of our families. If your student qualifies for free or reduced meals, they can still receive them, but you will need to apply to be considered for the program. If you are concerned that you may not be able to afford school meal prices, we urge you to fill out an application for free or reduced meal benefits. Income eligibility guidelines are available online (https://5il.co/1aux6).
To apply, complete the 2022-23 application for Free and Reduced Meals. The online application is now available on the district’s website (https://bit.ly/FR22Bryant). Paper applications are available at the Food Service office.
