Bryant Public Schools is proud to welcome our newest School Board member, Tanikus Farmer, who was appointed to fill the At-Large position previously held by Patrice Muldrow. She will serve through the next board election in March 2026.
A Saline County resident for nearly 20 years, Tanikus and her husband, Lynn, have been deeply involved in our community—volunteering in the district, supporting youth events, and serving on multiple committees. Tanikus has a heart for service—she’s held numerous PTO roles, coordinated varsity football meals, and continues her commitment through the Junior Auxiliary, serving chapters across south Arkansas. Bryant Pre-K continues to build a strong foundation in social-emotional learning through Conscious Discipline. This summer, our team attended the five-day Conscious Discipline Academy in Jonesboro. Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, helps close the hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not getting nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children in the form of pre-loaded cards, with a one-time benefit of $120 per eligible child.
