Tip Line
According to Arkansas law, when a school bus stops and displays its alternating red warning lights for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers, every operator of a motor vehicle or motorcycle approaching the school bus from any direction must stop at least 30 feet behind a stopped school bus. For the sake of our students, stop when you see the flashing red lights. Let’s work together to make sure our students travel safely to and from school each day. #SchoolBusSafetyWeek #FlashingRedKidsAhead 🚍🛑

Physical safety is important, but so is emotional safety. To feel emotionally safe, students need supportive relationships, the key to better learning experiences for all students. That’s why we place such importance on the processes of Capturing Kids’ Hearts. From door greetings, to sharing Good Things, to social contracts, we value creating positive learning environments. #CKH

AMERICA'S SAFE SCHOOLS WEEK Safety is a priority at Bryant Public Schools. Thanks to our partnership with the City of Bryant, eight School Resource Officers are part of our security team. Over the last few years, the Bryant School Board has allocated resources to ensure there is an armed presence on every school campus by adding nine Commissioned School Security Officers. #SafeHornets

October is #NationalPrincipalsMonth. All month long, we’re celebrating our amazing principals at each of our schools. Salem principal Donaven Sims has led the school for six years. He loves building relationships with his students, their families, and the Salem Tigers faculty/staff. He says, “Relationships are the most important part of my job.” FUN FACT: Mr. Sims has 2 goats (Goose & Maverick), 20 chickens (he can't name them all), a turkey (Tom), and a duck named Bob. Thank you, Mr. Sims, for creating opportunities for success at Salem Elementary! #BryantProud #ThankAPrincipal
