âď¸âď¸âď¸ SNOW DAY âď¸âď¸âď¸
Due to inclement weather and road conditions, Bryant Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 16.
In preparation for the well below-normal temperatures next week, the great people of Saline County have come together to organize a COMMUNITY Warming Center!
Saline County Warming Center Quick Facts:
đ Northside Church of Christ (917 N. East St. Benton, next to Saline Memorial Hospital)
â° Opens: Sunday, Jan. 14 at 5pm (opening depending on current weather conditions)
đąTo volunteer, call (501) 528-9668 or email salinewarmingcenter@gmail.com.
With winter weather in the forecast, now is a good time to review our inclement weather procedures. In the event that the school district has to cancel school due to inclement weather, we will have a traditional snow day.
The district is utilizing an alternative calendar with additional instructional hours scheduled above what is required by the state. As long as the district does not close for more than five days, days will not have to be added to the end of the school year.
IF it should be necessary to close school, parents will be notified by all District communication channels such as phone call, text, email, website, mobile app and social media as well as news outlets.
Bryant Public Schools does not plan to close today. The temperature is above freezing with rain expected by noon. Enjoy this beautiful snowfall! âď¸đ¨ď¸

Bryant Public Schoolsâ new Strategic Plan 2.0 outlines the districtâs focus areas over the next few years based on four priorities: Safety and Student Supports; Student Learning; Career Readiness; and Highly Qualified Personnel.
In the spring of 2023, all stakeholders were surveyed to help determine the goals and priorities for the Strategic Plan 2.0. It was important to the Bryant School Board and the district that areas identified by our stakeholders were a direct result of the data collected in the survey. The new plan includes the specific priorities indicated in the survey, provides actions to achieve the goals, determines methods to monitor and evaluate progress, and identifies desired outcomes. Specific data, including student achievement, will be included as part of the appendix (as it becomes available) to monitor progress of the priorities.
Visit bryantschools.org/strategicplan2.0 to view the video and read the new plan. We are excited about the districtâs renewed focus which will lead us to LEARNING FOR ALL ... SUCCESS FOR ALL.
