Students from Bethel FBLA and FCCLA spent Tuesday giving back at the Arkansas Foodbank, where 17 students packed 800 pounds of cereal — providing 9,080 servings for families in our area.

Community service and helping others are at the heart of both organizations, and these students represented Bethel with compassion and teamwork. Thank you to sponsors Rachel Parker, Tonya Payton and Sheri Maxwell for leading this meaningful opportunity for our students to serve others.

After diving into Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World by Jennifer Armstrong, Mrs. Richey’s GT students put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building their own boats.

Students began by sketching detailed blueprints, then used materials of their choice to create boats that could actually float. Their creativity, problem-solving, and perseverance were on full display as each design hit the water.

Congratulations to our top boat builders:
🥇 Griffin – 1st Place
🥈 Everett – 2nd Place
🥉 Kendall – 3rd Place

We love seeing learning come to life through hands-on challenges like this. #BethelProud #HandsOnLearning #GTStudents #FutureEngineers

Today we’re celebrating Ms. Chastain, our amazing librarian at Bethel Middle School — because let’s be honest, she is basically the CEO of books, fun, and saving the day. 📚💙

Whether it’s helping students find the perfect book, jumping in to help with just about anything, or creating fun events that make the library the place everyone wants to be, Ms. Chastain always goes above and beyond.

She has turned our library into more than just a place for reading — it’s a fun, safe, welcoming space where students know they can always find a smile and a helping hand.

Bethel is better because of her, and we are so lucky she keeps our shelves organized and our school running a little smoother.

Happy Librarian Day, Ms. Chastain — thanks for proving librarians really do know everything. ✨

Big news for current and future Hornets! 📣

Bryant High School is expanding its partnership with Arkansas State University Three Rivers to give students even more opportunities to succeed.

Starting with the Class of 2029, students can graduate with BOTH a high school diploma AND an Associate’s Degree—earning up to 60 college credit hours along the way. Current 9th-grade students will receive an email with an application link.

That means saving time, saving money, and getting a head start on the future. ⏱️💰🎓

Last week in science, our students engaged in a hands-on learning experience as they rotated through a variety of review stations. Each station focused on strengthening their understanding of graphs—whether it was creating their own, analyzing data, or interpreting different types of graphs. 📊🔬

Students collaborated with their peers, practiced critical thinking skills, and applied what they’ve learned in a fun and interactive way. Activities like these help build confidence in reading and working with data, an essential skill across all areas of learning.
