The BHS FCCLA chapter attended the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., this summer for an amazing week filled with leadership, advocacy, competition, and unforgettable experiences. Our four chapter officers participated in leadership training, and our members had the opportunity to participate in Rally on the Hill, advocating for Family and Consumer Sciences education and FCCLA on Capitol Hill.

Congratulations to our senior, Liz, who earned a Gold Medal in the Say Yes to FCS STAR Event! Even more exciting, Liz participated in the National Signing Day to show her commitment to pursuing a career as an FCS educator and will begin college this fall. We couldn’t be more proud of her and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make on the future of FCS!

Throughout the week, our students connected with FCCLA members from across the country, made lifelong memories, and proudly represented BHS and FCCLA.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported these students and helped make this incredible experience possible! We are #BryantProud of them!
