🎓💰 Preparing Our Seniors for Real-World Decisions!
Today, our BHS seniors participated in the annual Financial Reality Fair, an immersive experience that puts real-life budgeting skills to the test. Students navigated the costs of housing, transportation, food, utilities, entertainment — all while working within a monthly salary. 🏠🚗🍽️
“Temptation” booths challenged them to make smart choices, prioritize needs over wants, and see how every financial decision affects their bottom line. After completing each station, students finalized their budgets and reviewed their plans with financial counselors.
This hands-on experience equips our seniors with essential money-management skills and helps ensure they’re truly future ready. 💼🧾
A huge THANK YOU to our community partners and volunteers who make this event possible each year! 👏

Time is quickly running out to recognize your senior and all of their accomplishments with a senior ad in the yearbook. The deadline for ads is Friday, but they take a little time to put together, so don't delay.
Ads can be designed and paid for here: https://www.jostens.com/yearbooks/students-and-parents/yearbook-ads
Questions? Email Mr. Turner or Mr. Cory at JTurner@bryantschools.org or CCroy@bryantschools.org. Please note, they are traveling with students to their national convention, so their response time may be slower than normal.

This morning, BHS Educators Rising hosted a ceremony to honor our Veterans. Our JROTC Color Guard presented the colors, and members from our Camerata choir sang the National Anthem. We recognized the names of Veterans who had a flag purchased in their honor, as well as one member from each branch of the military. Our honorees were:
Army- Leotis Nichols
Navy- Mitchell Dobry
Marines- Dan Billingsley
Air Force- Rick Meyer
We also had the pleasure of recognizing our two JROTC Instructors on campus, Major David Tiller and Senior Master Sergeant Andrew Rodriguez, for their military service and continued support of the military through their work at BHS. A huge thank-you to First Sergeant Louis Jackson as well, for helping coordinate this effort with our Educators Rising students.

We had a blast celebrating students at our first quarter incentive party this afternoon! 🎉 We would like to extend a huge thank you to our community partners! The Saline County Library set up a craft station where students could make their own buttons and/or tassel garland. Sgt. Jackson from the Army National Guard brought delicious treats and drove an MRAP to campus that students were able to sit inside of. Thank you all so much for pouring time into celebrating our students!
