Each year, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) recognizes the nation's top classroom teachers who teach citizenship education topics and promote America's history, traditions, and institutions effectively. We are #BryantProud to announce that BHS history teacher Ricky Manes received the VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award for VFW Post 2256.

Our team has been assessing road conditions this afternoon. While most roads in the district are clear, others remain hazardous. For the safety of our students and staff, Bryant Schools will be closed on Friday, February 21.
This is the final inclement weather day built into our approved 2024-25 calendar. We hope no additional weather-related closures are needed. However, if more days are missed, they will be added to the end of the school year.

Bryant High School is proud to announce that Matthew Hanks and Jackson Koon are 2025 National Merit Finalists! This prestigious honor recognizes their hard work, dedication, and top academic achievement.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is one of the most competitive academic honors in the country. Jackson and Matthew have demonstrated outstanding academic ability, earning this distinction through their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, as well as their continued academic success.

Did you know BHS students can earn college credit during high school?
Students can earn college credit through AP (Advanced Placement) Courses and Concurrent Credit Courses. Some classes even offer both options! For example, the AP Language class is both an AP course and a concurrent credit course, so students can earn college credit through either program—or both. #opp4success

At their recent state competition, EdRising students from across Arkansas vied for four state officer positions. We are so proud of our students for being elected into three of these positions - Nichael Rucker as Vice President, Kallie Hart as Secretary, and Keirstin Hence as Marketing Reporter. Congratulations!
In addition to this amazing accomplishment, our very own Mrs. Jessica L Wilson was selected as the 2025 Educators Rising Teacher Leader of the year! We are excited for the work she has poured into our future educators and cannot wait to see where she leads students next!
