Bryant Public Schools Board of Education is seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy on the school board for Zone 3 in the Bryant School District. (See map: https://bit.ly/BPSZone3).
Applicants must reside within Zone 3 of the Bryant School District. The position will be placed on the ballot for the May 16, 2023, school board election with the full term scheduled to expire in May 2027.
Applicants are invited to submit a letter of intent and a resume to Heather Tipton, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board, by noon on Monday, June 13, 2022. All submissions are subject to Arkansas’ Freedom of Information Act.
The applicants will be interviewed by board members at the June 20, 2022 school board meeting (note the change from June 16). Following the interviews, the school board will consider a final appointment to fill the vacancy beginning July 1, 2022, through the May 16, 2023, school board election.

A new face at PLACE … John Hall is the incoming BHS Assistant Principal for PLACE. An advocate for Alternative Education, Mr. Hall has been hired as the PLACE leader for the new school year.
Mr. Hall served K-8 students and parents as the previous LINKS/ALE assistant principal. He is excited about his new role and can’t wait to start building relationships with a new group of learners.


Football reserved seating is now available for purchase. Cost is $50 per seat and includes admission to varsity home football games (excludes AAA benefit and state playoff games). Limited number of reserved football parking spaces are available for $60 each.

An educator with 11 years of experience, Timothy (TJ) Powell is joining us from the Magnolia School District. Mr. Powell will begin his position as Bryant High School Assistant Principal on July 1.
Mr. Powell spent the first six years of his educational career as a coach. His first administrative role was as an elementary assistant principal. For the last two years, he has served as Assistant Principal of the Magnolia High School Freshman Academy.
We are thrilled to have Mr. Powell join our high school team. Welcome to Bryant!
