Bryant High School is working toward becoming a designated Heart Safe School with Project Adam and Arkansas Children's Hospital. On Friday, April 4th at approximately 1 pm, we will be conducting an emergency drill. The Bryant Fire Department and Pafford EMS will be on campus during this time. Our team will demonstrate that we were able to recognize a cardiac emergency, start CPR and use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) if needed within a few minutes. Bryant High School Graphic Design welcomed back one of our recent graduates yesterday! This Class of 2024 alum shared valuable insights with our current students about the UCA admissions process and what it's like to pursue Graphic Design at the college level. His candid perspective and first-hand experience provided our students with practical information they can use when making their own college decisions. These real-world connections are invaluable for our students as they prepare for their futures. After reviewing the most up to date forecast from the National Weather Service and looking at the forecast for severe weather, Bryant Public Schools will dismiss school early on Wednesday, April 2. We will follow the same early dismissal schedule used for parent-teacher conferences. All after school student activities and practices are canceled. Visit bryantschools.org for more details. Our district spans 350 square miles, and some bus routes lack safe shelter options in extreme weather. Administrators have carefully considered these factors, and out of an abundance of caution, early dismissal will help ensure that students arrive home safely and that bus drivers can return should conditions worsen. In the event that severe weather arrives earlier than the prediction of the recent forecast, students and staff will shelter in place until it is deemed safe to dismiss them. Student and staff safety will always come first. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make safety the top priority for students and staff in making these difficult decisions.

During the month of April, Bryant Schools is participating in the 2025 THV11 Summer Cereal Drive to benefit the Arkansas Foodbank. Donations will be accepted at any Bryant School. The following items will count toward each school’s total: cereal (17 oz. and larger), granola bars, cereal bars, instant oatmeal, and toaster pastries.  Items will be sent to local food pantries to feed hungry children and families in our community.

Thank you to the Saline County Library for donating their time and supplies to make snow cones for the students! ✨Graphic Design Students Partner with Kids Closet for Community Impact!✨ We're incredibly proud of our SkillsUSA Graphic Design chapter members who recently completed an amazing community outreach project with the Kids Closet of Saline County! Our talented students met with representatives from the Bryant Rotary Club, who operate the Kids Closet, to learn about the essential services they provide to families in our community. After gathering all the necessary information, the students returned to our graphics lab and designed a beautiful promotional brochure that effectively communicates the many valuable services offered by Kids Closet. Not only did our students design these professional-quality materials, but they also printed the brochures themselves and personally delivered the finished products to the Rotary Club. These brochures will now be placed in various locations throughout Saline County, helping more families learn about and access the resources available to them. This project provided our students with real-world design experience while allowing them to give back to their community in a meaningful way. It's opportunities like these that help develop both their technical skills and their understanding of how design can create positive social impact. The Bryant Rotary Club was so appreciative of our students' hard work that they surprised them with cake and refreshments during the final delivery! These kinds of community partnerships create valuable connections and demonstrate to our students the impact their skills can have. We're so proud of these young designers using their talents to support such an important community resource!

We are #BryantProud of our Quiz Bowl team for placing 2nd at the 7A Central Regionals! We can't wait to cheer them on at the state competition on April 12th!
