Being BOLD at Bryant means daring to take risks, thinking creatively, and confidently seizing new opportunities. Bryant High School’s strong computer science program is breaking new ground this year with a course called Computer Science Independent Study, led by teacher Brenda Qualls. This unique class empowers four students—Jackson Koon, JC LeCompt, Carson Maurer, and Brasen Winchell—to independently design, code, and implement a single application over the entire school year, following an approved educational plan.
This approach is a bold new game plan for our high school, where students are putting their technical skills to work in creative problem-solving. By taking risks and embracing challenges, they’re preparing for even more opportunities beyond graduation.
At Bryant, we are proud of educators like Mrs. Qualls, who create innovative learning experiences, and of students who rise to the challenge. Every day, they inspire us all to BE BOLD, BE BRAVE, and BE BRYANT.

Union Pacific has closed the railway crossing at Shobe and Brookwood, impacting bus drop off this afternoon (Wednesday, Nov 13) and both morning and afternoon routes tomorrow. Bus routes impacted include 133, 3, 123, 41, 42, 111, 113, and 31.
The closure will most likely delay buses as they have to find alternate routes. Students will still be picked up and dropped off at their normal locations, but may be a bit later than normal.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

There were 35 adult volunteers, who all praised the work of the students. One said “I am so proud of all the kids yesterday at our tables!!! So many different students found ways that they can work together, found each others’ strengths and weaknesses and adjusted to make it successful. Thank you so much for asking and accepting our help!!!” We are #BryantProud of our Hornets!
This day would not have been possible with the tireless planning of Robin Larsen, Emily Skiavo, and Dexter Barksdale! We would like to extend a giant thank you to Everett for providing lunch for all of the adult volunteers!

📢REMINDER: All schools will be closed for Fall Break October 25-28. Students will return to classes on Tuesday, October 29.
