🇺🇸 Honoring History and Service 🇺🇸
This morning, students and community members from across Saline County came together for the Saline County 250 Commission Honoring Bauxite’s WWII Legacy and our veterans at the Bauxite Historical Museum.

The program included contributions from students across our county:
🇺🇸 Harmony Grove and Glen Rose students led the Pledge of Allegiance.
🇺🇸 Benton High School ROTC presented and posted the colors.
🎶 The Bryant Junior High Hornet Harmony choir, directed by Jordan Murdock, delivered a moving performance of the National Anthem.
🎶 Bauxite students performed musical selections honoring our veterans.
Today’s ceremony also marked the unveiling of a commemorative historical marker recognizing Saline County's vital role in supporting America during World War II, while paying tribute to the veterans of Saline County whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us.

🤖 Great job, BJHS HEAT Robotics!
On Saturday, they traveled to Fayetteville to compete in their first Push Back robotics tournament of the year. All four teams advanced to the semifinals, with Team 1338G moving on to the finals match.
While they didn't win the championship, Team 1338X brought home the Excellence Award, recognizing the best overall robot and team performance! 🏆

Something spooky was brewing at school on Halloween! 👻 Our staff got a mysterious email announcing a Witch & Mummy Hunt, and suddenly teachers were everywhere—checking hallways, peeking around corners, and searching high and low for our missing “admin mummies” and “counselor witches!” 🧙‍♀️🧻 Laughter echoed through the halls as everyone raced to find the hidden faces for a prize. 🏈🎉 Tailgate Success! 🎉🏈

We’re so proud of our students! Nearly 1,100 students earned their spot at our October Tailgate Party by finishing Q1 with Cs or higher and fewer than 3 tardies — that’s some serious responsibility and hard work! 💪💛

We had an awesome time celebrating outside with games, music, hot dogs, chips, and plenty of smiles! 😄🌭
