Congratulations and job well done to our BMS Choir, under the direction of Ms. Laura Chism. Hard work pays off!

Thank you, Diana Metcalf Thomas for the treats to help us get through these last few days before winter break! You always take such great care of us!
Congratulations to our Unified pickle ball teams! Both placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their division. Our girls team won their division, with another partner that was given an award for helping with skill development of the athletes competing.

Mrs. White's 8th period reading class went to Bryant Elementary School to read to a 1st grade class. They took our Reading Buddies and some new books gifted from #buildabearfoundation and #firstbookmarketplace.

In 7th grade English, students are learning about argumentative writing using a short story, “The Scarlet Ibis,” where they argue whether or not a character is responsible for his brother’s death. In Ms. Ross’ honors classes, they related this to real world situations by conducting a mock trial where they provided arguments and reasonings based on evidence from the text. 📚 ⚖️👨⚖️👩⚖️

Tacky Sweater Day and some reindeer!👚👕🎄🎅

Congrats to BMS Cheer that placed first 🥇 at the Southern Spirit cheer completion!

♨️Our 6th grade science students explored thermal energy transfer this week through some fun, hands-on demonstrations!
♨️Students watched a glass tea kettle boil water to observe convection in action. They also examined how a toaster uses radiation to heat bread. Finally, they saw conduction at work as butter melted on the warm toast.
♨️To make the lesson even more exciting, everyone got to order their toast just the way they like it!
♨️A huge thank you to all the parents who donated supplies and helped make this memorable learning experience possible!
