The Collegeville Robotics team attended their first robotics league event last Thursday, hosted by the Bryant High School Robotics team. They had a blast and learned several new techniques and strategies to help them get ready for their upcoming tournament!

"It’s that time of year when Turkey is in trouble. Bad trouble. The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving…and you’re the main course. But Turkey had an idea…what if he didn’t look like a Turkey?” Students in Mrs. Chism’s Kindergarten class disguised their turkey at home so he or she wouldn’t be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner! 🦃🍽️
Thanks to our amazing community, we collected over 200 jars during our peanut butter drive! Every single jar has been delivered to a local food pantry to support families right here in our area. We’re so grateful for your generosity!
And a special shoutout to Cantrell Family Dental for donating products to our students—those smiles are going to shine even brighter thanks to you! 🦷✨

Families are invited to enjoy a traditional holiday meal with their student(s) — featuring chicken dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, a roll, and dessert.
🍽️ Tickets: $5.05 per guest
🎟️ On sale: Monday, November 3
📅 Deadline: Friday, November 14 (no exceptions)
📍 Purchase tickets at your child’s school office.

📚 TOMORROW we will wrap up our celebration with our Book Character Parade! Don’t forget—students must have a copy of the book that inspired their costume. We can’t wait to see the imagination and fun on full display!

🧦💙 Rockin’ Our Socks & Celebrating Character at Collegeville! 💙🧦
Today was full of heart and inspiration! Our Wildcats proudly rocked their socks in celebration of our friends with Down Syndrome—showing that inclusion and kindness never go out of style.
We also hosted our October Character Awards, recognizing students who truly embodied what it means to be self-directed—our focus trait this month. These Wildcats showed initiative, responsibility, and the power of leading themselves with purpose. 🌟
To top it off, we welcomed a very special guest: Miss Arkansas Teen, Amelia Lisowe! Amelia shared her journey with our students, highlighting the importance of setting short- and long-term goals and how those choices have shaped her path. Her message was empowering, and our Wildcats were all ears!
We are so proud of our students for showing up with courage, compassion, and character. 💙🐾

These early experiences are helping ease the jitters and prepare them for the big leagues when they compete in the School-Wide Spelling Bee in 3rd–5th grade. 📚🐝

As we wrap up our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our teachers and staff would like to say thank you to all of the families that played a part in our potluck this past Friday!
We were able to enjoy delicious foods from many cultures such as Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and El Salvador. It was a perfect way to wrap up the week, and from the looks on these faces, very much appreciated! 🌮🍽😻

Hispanic Heritage Month is focused on teaching and celebrating the diverse histories, cultures, and significant contributions of American citizens with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. 🇺🇸🇮🇹🇳🇮🇵🇷🇦🇷🇸🇻🇬🇹
