Shine Bright for Testing Day Tomorrow! ☀️😎

Hello Collegeville families! We’re getting ready to shine bright as we celebrate and prepare for testing! Our Kindergarten-2nd grade students have worked hard and are finishing up their assessments, while our 3rd-5th graders are gearing up for the ATLAS summative test.

To show our support and build excitement, all students are encouraged to wear bright colors and sunglasses on Friday, Apr. 24! Let’s fill our hallways with positivity, confidence, and school spirit as we celebrate our younger students’ accomplishments and encourage our upper grades to do their very best.

Let’s shine bright, Wildcats. We’re ready! 🌟

Today we celebrated our student winners for the month of March, who demonstrated courage in their classrooms, friendships, and daily choices. Their bravery and willingness to try, grow, and persevere make Collegeville shine. Mrs. Milam was also presented with the staff award for Courage. We are so proud to recognize her for the incredible example she sets on our campus.

Today we also celebrated and recognized our amazing paraprofessionals with a special breakfast for Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! Our paras show up every day with patience, love, flexibility, and unwavering commitment to our students and staff. Collegeville is better because of them, and we are grateful for all they do!

Childcare Network and Bright Ideas daycares are closed today in observance of Good Friday.

If your child attends one of these daycares, please make sure to notify their teacher how your child will be getting home today.

Club Unify invites all students and staff to LIGHT IT UP BLUE in support of individuals with autism. Wear blue, spread kindness, and help us celebrate the beauty of our differences.

💜 April: Month of the Military Child
This month, we honor the strength and resilience of our military‑connected students. These incredible kids face frequent moves, long separations, and constant change—yet they continue to shine in our classrooms.
Show your support by wearing purple on Friday, April 10th.

🏀 March Madness… Unify Style
Club Unify is bringing the spirit of March Madness to something even bigger—INCLUSION. Every pass, every play, every moment reminds us that everyone deserves a spot on the team. When we include everyone, we all win.

We are incredibly proud to recognize Rory, one of our amazing 3rd graders, for her generosity and leadership. Through her own initiative, Rory collected items to support students in need across our district. This week, she donated everything she gathered to Bryant Bright Futures, an organization dedicated to helping students and families overcome barriers so they can succeed in school and in life.

Rory’s kindness and commitment to helping others truly reflect the heart of our Collegeville community. Thank you, Rory, for showing how one student can make a big impact. 💙✨

Collegeville families, this is a reminder that we will begin dismissal at 1:40 PM today. Buses will start running at that time. All car riders must be picked up by 2:15 PM. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and timely dismissal!

Collegeville is incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Ms. O’shaunda Johnson, who has been named Special Education Paraprofessional of the Year. If you haven’t had the joy of meeting “Miss O,” she serves students in our CBI classroom with unwavering dedication and heart.

She shows up every day ready to give her best, supports her coworkers without hesitation, and brings laughter and positivity wherever she goes. Our students adore her, and our staff knows they can always count on her to go above and beyond.

We are honored to call her part of the Collegeville family—and not at all surprised by this well‑deserved recognition. Congratulations, Miss O. We love you!

Students do their best when they can test in their normal classroom environment, rather than making up tests in a different space. Thank you so much for helping us create the most comfortable and successful testing experience for our kids! 💛📚
