Today we celebrated our student winners for the month of March, who demonstrated courage in their classrooms, friendships, and daily choices. Their bravery and willingness to try, grow, and persevere make Collegeville shine. Mrs. Milam was also presented with the staff award for Courage. We are so proud to recognize her for the incredible example she sets on our campus.

Today we also celebrated and recognized our amazing paraprofessionals with a special breakfast for Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! Our paras show up every day with patience, love, flexibility, and unwavering commitment to our students and staff. Collegeville is better because of them, and we are grateful for all they do!

We are incredibly proud to recognize Rory, one of our amazing 3rd graders, for her generosity and leadership. Through her own initiative, Rory collected items to support students in need across our district. This week, she donated everything she gathered to Bryant Bright Futures, an organization dedicated to helping students and families overcome barriers so they can succeed in school and in life.

Rory’s kindness and commitment to helping others truly reflect the heart of our Collegeville community. Thank you, Rory, for showing how one student can make a big impact. 💙✨

Collegeville families, this is a reminder that we will begin dismissal at 1:40 PM today. Buses will start running at that time. All car riders must be picked up by 2:15 PM. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and timely dismissal!

Collegeville is incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Ms. O’shaunda Johnson, who has been named Special Education Paraprofessional of the Year. If you haven’t had the joy of meeting “Miss O,” she serves students in our CBI classroom with unwavering dedication and heart.

She shows up every day ready to give her best, supports her coworkers without hesitation, and brings laughter and positivity wherever she goes. Our students adore her, and our staff knows they can always count on her to go above and beyond.

We are honored to call her part of the Collegeville family—and not at all surprised by this well‑deserved recognition. Congratulations, Miss O. We love you!

Students do their best when they can test in their normal classroom environment, rather than making up tests in a different space. Thank you so much for helping us create the most comfortable and successful testing experience for our kids! 💛📚

Our Destination Imagination team, the Womp. Womp. Wildcats, spent their Saturday in Hot Springs competing at the ARDI State Tournament! This group has been preparing for this moment all school year. They planned and designed their own game‑show challenge—complete with original characters, a full script, and props built from recycled materials. Their set even included technical elements like a working pulley system and LED lights wired to turn on at the press of a button. They walked away with a 3rd place win, and we couldn’t be more proud of the leadership, creativity, and teamwork they showed today. A huge thank‑you to Mrs. Devyn Jones for the time, energy, and heart she poured into helping these students learn, grow, and compete. Awesome job, Wildcats! 🐾💙

February was full of fun and learning in Mrs. Gillespie’s and Mrs. Poe’s classrooms! ❤️✨

Our kindergarteners in Mrs. Gillespie’s class packed the month with hands‑on activities, special celebrations, creative projects, and lots of joyful learning. Their excitement made every day feel like an adventure! 🌈📚

Meanwhile, Mrs. Poe’s 2nd graders wrapped up their math unit with games, teamwork, and big smiles. They worked hard, practiced new skills, and showed just how much they’ve grown as mathematicians. ➕➖🎉

We love seeing our students learn, play, and shine each day at Collegeville! 💙📘

The book vending machine is one of our favorite Collegeville traditions 📚✨ Each month, Mrs. Arroyo names a Reader of the Month for each classroom, and those special students earn a token for a brand‑new book from the machine! 🎉

During Read Across America Week, we also pulled reading tickets that awarded even more students a token! Some books had a bonus prize from Central Arkansas Inflatable that earned students a free visit to their indoor park! 🎟️📚 We want to extend a big thank you to them for helping us make this week more exciting!

We spent this week reading with our buddies 📚, discovering new books 📖, sharing stories together 💬, and letting our imaginations run wild ✨. We celebrated authors, met new characters, and talked about how reading connects us to others and strengthens both our hearts ❤️ and our minds 🧠.

We hope that every student heard a story this week that helped them love reading just a little bit more. Thank you, families, for all the ways you supported our learning and made Read Across America week so special! 🌟
