Good morning to our HCES Families,
We are moving into the final week of April, with only 24 school days left. We still have high levels of learning that happens every single day, so make sure your child arrives at school on time, ready to give their best. Our third, fourth, and fifth graders are gearing up for our big state assessment, The ACT Aspire, next week, May 2-4. Attendance is very important as teachers and students are reviewing important concepts.
All of our K-5 classes are trying to earn 20 stars so they can be an Attendance Hero Class. How does this happen? Each classroom with 100% attendance, and NO tardies earns a STAR for the day. Twenty stars guarantees a GLo-Stick Party with the principals, and the title of ATTENDANCE HERO!
Help your child get to school by 7:45, so they can receive a daily star.
What do you need to know about the upcoming weeks at The Creek? Read all about it in The Patriot Press; Parent Edition.
Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!

Good morning and welcome to April!
I want to thank you for trusting us to protect your student. During last Friday's severe weather, our students' were courageous when we took cover as the warning sirens began to ring. They listened to instructions and followed our procedures just as we practice during monthly drills. Many of you came early to check out your child due to the weather conditions. You, too, were patient and orderly as we followed our district protocol. Thank you for being our partner. Thank you for understanding that your child's safety is our top priority. You can rest assured our administrators, teachers and staff take every measure to protect them.
We begin our week-long "Serve Like A Patriot" fundraiser. Please help us raise money to purchase school supplies for all students next year.
Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!

With the safety of our students and staff our top priority, we are closely monitoring the severe weather forecast for this afternoon. Based on the timing of the potential impact, Bryant Public Schools will dismiss at the normal times.
If there is a threat of severe weather at dismissal, we will hold buses and student drivers until it is safe to allow them to leave our campuses.
If sirens go off during pick up, we will not release students. A separate space will be provided for parents to come inside the building for safety.
Parents who wish to pick up their students early may do so. Please follow check-out protocols at your child’s school.
Stay safe!
