Many areas of our community are experiencing power outages, which affect traffic signals. Both the severe weather and traffic signals may impact normal bus drop off times for students. Please do not be concerned if your student is not dropped off at the regular time today.

Hello HCE Families, Our Capturing Kids Hearts Leadworthy word for April is "Perseverance." How fitting, as we are gearing up to finish this school year strong. We are preparing for NWEA and ACT Aspire assessments as the 21-22 testing season is upon us. Ask your child to tell you about our CKH Student Leadership Mindset Pyramid. We are focusing on our end of year goals and working to meet our projected growth, and do whatever it takes to be an EXCEL student. You'll see a visual inside this week's issue of The Patriot Press: Parent Edition. Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours! Paraprofessional educators, also known as paras, assist teachers in classrooms. They may work with students on enrichment activities, either in small groups or one-on-one. They help students complete assignments or practice reading. Paraprofessionals often work with students with special education needs and a variety of disabilities. They may also supervise students outside of classrooms and help teachers with clerical work. Your work is vital to the success of our Bryant students. Thank you for making a difference!

Welcome back! I hope you and your child were able to spend some time doing something you enjoyed over spring break! We are gearing up for the final quarter of school. We still have 43 days of learning left in our school year. Our goal is to prepare your child for their next level. Remember, our school day begins at 7:45, and our tardy bell rings at 7:50. It is very important to get your child to school on time. To give your child ample time to eat breakfast, if they choose, try to arrive by 7:30. Our school day ends at 3:10. All students must be picked up by 3:30. We would love for you to have lunch with your child beginning this week. In order to keep the process safe and orderly, we need your help...see the guidelines in our weekly newsletter, The Patriot Press: Parent Edition, Issue 23. Have a great day or not, the choice is yours! Parents, If your child sold cookie dough, it will be available for pickup this Thursday during P/T conferences from 2-7:30 in the foyer of HCES. A PTO representative will be there to assist you. You will need to pickup in person- we cannot send the orders home with kids. It must be refrigerated, so all cookie dough must be picked up that day. Thank you!

On Tuesday afternoon (March 8) some of our older buses will be replaced with new buses. While your child's bus may have a new bus license number, ROUTE numbers will not change. The route number is the white number placed on the front and rear bumper of each bus. (The black number on the side, next to the door, is the license number, which will read 17-3-###. Do not reference this license number when looking for your route number.) Please remind your student to look for the white route number on the front and rear bumper. Route numbers will remain the same. Our staff members will help your student locate his or her new bus for the ride home on Tuesday.
