Concurrent credit courses provide students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. In partnership with ASU Three Rivers, Bryant offers 17 courses at discounted rates, with students able to earn up to 12 hours of college credit free each year. This program opens doors to higher education, making college more accessible and affordable for our students and families. Let's celebrate these exceptional opportunities for student success!
Our district provides exceptional opportunities for student success. With 26 Advanced Placement® (AP) courses, Bryant allows students to experience rigorous, college-level coursework while still in high school. These courses span a wide range of subjects, enabling students to pursue personal interests or fulfill college prerequisites. After completing the course, students take the AP exam, and by achieving qualifying scores, they can earn valuable college credit, giving them a head start on higher education.

At Bryant Schools, our students can find countless opportunities to grow and excel in our classrooms, programs, and organizations. Recently, Bryant High School seniors Matthew Hanks and Jackson Koon were named National Merit semifinalists; an honor shared by only 134 Arkansas high school seniors.
While we celebrate the hard work and motivation it took to achieve this feat, we also want to celebrate the students that Matthew and Jackson have proved to be. They each have diverse interests and are involved in a variety of activities at Bryant High School and in the community. They have also expressed their future goals and aspirations, involving work in STEM and an appreciation for languages and travel. Here at Bryant, we are proud of the high levels of achievement we see each day, but we are also proud of the community our staff and students create.
Our hope is to inspire Bryant students to BE BOLD, BE BRAVE, and BE BRYANT with every opportunity; showing the world what it looks like when Hornets strive for excellence!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For the third year, our district is participating in the #GoGold campaign.
All Hornets are asked to #GoGold on Friday, September 27. Wear gold clothing/accessories or wear a gold ribbon. We are asking students to donate $1 and staff to donate $2. All donations will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Child Life Department to support children with cancer and their families.
Bryant FBLA is hosting their first Big Blue Market of the year this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 💙
Big Blue Market is designed to give our students a path to entrepreneurship. 20+ students, staff, alumni, and community members have booths ready to showcase their wares. There will be everything from baked goods, crafts, art, and clothing to anime products. We invite you to support them as they sell goods/services to the public!

Congratulations to Matthew Hanks for being named a semifinalist in the prestigious 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program! Matthew has been a proud Hornet since his junior year and is now among an elite group of high school seniors nationwide with the chance to compete for one of 6,870 scholarships, collectively worth over $26 million, to be awarded next spring.
Matthew is exploring his options for college, with a strong interest in pursuing studies in math, science, or engineering. He is also passionate about expanding his knowledge of foreign languages. Regardless of the path he chooses, Matthew is committed to lifelong learning and personal growth.
Supported by his parents, Joseph and Audrey Hanks, and his six siblings, Matthew’s dedication to education has brought him to this remarkable achievement. The National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced in a series of news releases beginning in April 2025.
Bryant High School senior Jackson Koon has been named a semifinalist in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship program. Jackson, a proud Bryant student since first grade, is an active member of the BHS Chess Club, FBLA, Young Republicans, Young Democrats, and Beta Club.
While still undecided on which college to attend, Jackson plans to pursue a degree in computer science, with aspirations to create innovative programs and travel the world. His parents, Tess and Kevin Koon, are incredibly proud of his achievements and his dedication to education.
Jackson now joins a select group of talented high school seniors nationwide, eligible to compete for one of 6,870 National Merit Scholarships totaling $26 million. Scholarship winners will be announced in four national news releases beginning in April 2025.
On September 11, Patriot Day gives us time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives. We commemorate those we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line. #NeverForget #911 #PatriotDay

As part of the annual Salt Bowl tradition, Bryant Schools will collect jars of peanut butter through the entire month of September. Donations can be dropped off at any Bryant school between the hours of 8:30am-2:30pm. Help us provide a nutritious staple food item for children and families in Saline County!
