Julie began her career with the district in January 2008 as a bookkeeper. Over the years, her strong work ethic and deep understanding of district processes led her to roles as Payroll & Benefits Specialist and Assistant Business Manager. Her progression through these positions has given her a comprehensive knowledge of the business office and the needs of our schools.
A 1995 graduate of Henderson State University, Julie is committed to serving the Bryant community both professionally and personally. She and her husband, Eric, are proud parents of two Bryant graduates, Nathan and Hannah, who attended our schools from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Julie’s long-standing dedication, expertise, and genuine love for Bryant make her an exceptional leader for our business office. We’re excited to welcome her into this new role!

On Saturday, November 15, the National Honor Society hosted its inaugural “Fill the Pantry” event at Harps Foods in Benton. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., NHS members collected donations from generous Saline County residents—resulting in two carts full of pantry staples and an $80 monetary donation for both The Nest at Bryant High School and the Alexander Outreach Center.
This meaningful service project was created and led by NHS Philanthropic Chair Kennedy Henton, with contributions from members Muntadher Malik, Edith Vallejo, Rayan Patel, and Emily Burns.
In addition, thanks to support from the Bryant Rotary Club and annual contributions from active NHS members, the organization proudly sponsored five children through the district’s Adopt-a-Child program. Shopping for the children’s gifts was completed by NHS President David Salinas and Philanthropic Chair Kennedy Henton.
We are so proud of these students for demonstrating leadership, compassion, and a heart for service. 💙🐝

Today, our BHS seniors participated in the annual Financial Reality Fair, an immersive experience that puts real-life budgeting skills to the test. Students navigated the costs of housing, transportation, food, utilities, entertainment — all while working within a monthly salary. 🏠🚗🍽️
“Temptation” booths challenged them to make smart choices, prioritize needs over wants, and see how every financial decision affects their bottom line. After completing each station, students finalized their budgets and reviewed their plans with financial counselors.
This hands-on experience equips our seniors with essential money-management skills and helps ensure they’re truly future ready. 💼🧾
A huge THANK YOU to our community partners and volunteers who make this event possible each year! 👏

When Bryant Elementary paraprofessional Miss Angie was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, our school community wrapped around her with love, strength, and support.
“Bryant family is a very real thing. They really do take care of you like your family.” 💙

🇺🇸 Benton High School ROTC presented and posted the colors.
🎶 The Bryant Junior High Hornet Harmony choir, directed by Jordan Murdock, delivered a moving performance of the National Anthem.
🎶 Bauxite students performed musical selections honoring our veterans.
Today’s ceremony also marked the unveiling of a commemorative historical marker recognizing Saline County's vital role in supporting America during World War II, while paying tribute to the veterans of Saline County whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us.
