Bryant High School had the honor of hosting justices of the Arkansas Supreme Court for the court’s Appeals on Wheels event, an outreach program designed to educate students about our state government.
Students and community members watched the oral argument in the case of Bishop v. State of Arkansas from White County Circuit Court. Students from Bauxite, Harmony Grove and LR West School of Innovation also attended. After court was adjourned, the Justices spoke to small groups of Bryant students about the judiciary branch and the appellate process.
Special thanks go to Justice Barbara Webb from Saline County and her fellow Arkansas Supreme Court Justices; Shane Broadway for serving as an announcer; and Dr. Todd Edwards and the BHS team of administrators and history teachers. Bryant’s JROTC Presented the Colors and the Camera provided a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Thank you to our SROs and the Bryant Police Department for their assistance with security for the event.
It was a great day to be a Hornet!

All students will be dismissed early on Thursday, October 19 for Elementary (PreK-5th grade) Parent Teacher Conferences.
