The Bryant Sports Medicine team is putting safety first! 🏥💪 Today, our team rehearsed emergency response procedures, including equipment removal and cold tub protocols, as part of our Emergency Action Plan.
We were proud to welcome athletic trainers and emergency responders from Benton, Bauxite, and Harmony Grove. Working together helps ensure that all of Saline County is prepared to respond quickly and effectively in case of an emergency. Elaina Weaver, 6th grade math teacher at Bethel Middle School and Bryant Public Schools’ 2025 District Teacher of the Year, has been named one of the Top 5 finalists for the 2026 Arkansas Teacher of the Year! She was selected from a group of 15 statewide finalists during a recognition event held at the Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock.
“It's exciting to see Mrs. Weaver represent what makes Bryant so special at the state level,” said Superintendent Dr. Karen Walters.
The Arkansas Teacher of the Year program honors educators for their teaching and leadership skills. The selection committee will conduct site visits for each of the five state semi-finalists, with the 2026 ATOY announced this fall. The state winner will then be eligible to apply for the National Teacher of the Year program.
We’re so proud of Mrs. Weaver and can’t wait to see what’s next! 💙

Bryant Pre-K continues to build a strong foundation in social-emotional learning through Conscious Discipline. This summer, our team attended the five-day Conscious Discipline Academy in Jonesboro. School Board member Patrice Muldrow submitted her resignation on Thursday, July 17. Bryant Public Schools extends heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Muldrow for her five years of dedicated service on the Bryant School Board, including her leadership as Board President. Mrs. Muldrow has been a strong advocate for students and a true supporter of families, teachers, and school staff. Her passion for doing what’s best for kids has left a lasting impact on our district. We thank her for her service and the legacy she leaves behind.
