Congratulations to BHS student Jack Clay, who earned a 2021 Creative Writing Scholarship from the Thea Foundation!

We are so thankful for our Bryant School Board leaders! This #Teamof7 is an incredibly-hard working group of volunteers who constantly put our students and staff first.
To equip school board members with the necessary knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities, board members receive annual training. Our board members completed 82 training hours in 2020.
Thank you for your service! #SchoolBoardAppreciation

A report will be published by noon each Friday that shows the number of active positive COVID-19 cases for students/staff in the district. Find the January 22 report at bit.ly/BPSCases.
We want to remind parents to contact the District Point of Contact at 501-414-6647 or bryantpointofcontact@bryantschools.org to report a positive COVID-19 case with your student or within your family. Reports should also be made if your child has been identified as a close contact with a positive case outside of school (church, family members, gyms, etc.). It is also important that if a parent tests positive, the children who live in the home with them are quarantined.
Please call the POC even if you are unsure if you should. It is always better to be cautious in situations where the safety of others is concerned.
We appreciate your help in keeping our Hornet family healthy.

“If I cannot do great things, I CAN DO small things in a great way.” —Martin Luther King Jr.

Due to a system upgrade over the break, there is a new Home Access Center (HAC) link. HAC allows students and parents the ability to see schedules, assignments, grades, and attendance.
The link has been updated on the district website and on the app. You may also access HAC at hac20.esp.k12.ar.us.
HAC passwords have been encrypted. Families now have the ability to access their own password retrieval when they can't remember their passwords.

The District Point of Contact phone line (501-414-6647) will reopen January 2-3 for those who have had a positive COVID-19 test or have been designated as a close contact over the break. Rather than waiting until the phone line reopens, families may email bryantpointofcontact@bryantschools.org. For more information, visit bryantschools.org/page/poc-hours.
These individuals will not be able to attend school until their isolation or quarantine period is over. New guidelines released by the Arkansas Department of Health allow a return to school/work sooner if no symptoms have been reported. For more information, visit bit.ly/2L8RgsK.
We continue to rely on cooperation from families in reporting positive cases and identifying close contacts. The better we are with our prevention strategies, the longer we will be able to keep schools open and have students attend school in-person.

Happy New Year, Hornets! Here's to an awesome 2021.
