FORM FOR BLENDED LEARNERS: The current situation with COVID-19 is a very fluid one. District leaders are preparing for any number of possible situations during the school year.
ADH and DESE have provided a Levels of Response document (bit.ly/2GaB5Zg) to assist districts in the decision making process for different levels of positive cases. In the event of COVID-19 related closings (Bryant has to close classes or entire schools or the Governor closes all schools in the state), blended (onsite) instruction will transition to virtual (online) learning. The district is making preparations in advance to supply students with technology and educational services in order to have a seamless transition should virtual learning become necessary in the future.
PLEASE DO NOT INTERPRET THIS AS A MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT THAT WE ARE PLANNING TO MOVE TO VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION. NO SUCH DECISION HAS BEEN MADE AT THIS TIME.
We know some of our students do not have any type of internet or cell service at home. We also realize there are other obstacles for families when students move to all virtual learning. In the event of this transition, we are laying the groundwork to bring a limited number of students onsite, if possible.
If you have blended (onsite) students, help us by completing the following form. FILL OUT ONE FORM PER FAMILY.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT IS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 at MIDNIGHT.

Parents,
Administration has been closely monitoring the possibility of severe weather from Hurricane Laura. The latest update from the Office of Emergency Management early this morning shows the time for the storm’s arrival in our area moved to earlier in the afternoon than expected in previous predictions.
Due to the possibility of severe weather, school will dismiss at 1:00 today.
We ask parents to watch for messaging about the status of tomorrow (Friday). Current predictions indicate that the severe weather will have moved out by tomorrow; however, if there are power outages, flooding, and/or road closures, we will have a remote learning day. Please check email, social media platforms, app and/or our website for updates.
Today, teachers will provide students with assignments for tomorrow in the event a remote learning day is needed. Teachers will provide paper assignments for those students who do not have internet access or devices.
Again, a decision has not been made about tomorrow. We just want parents to be aware in case arrangements need to be made for childcare.

Tomorrow is a BIG day for our LITTLE Hornets. To help you and your child have a great start, all kindergarten students will begin school at 9am on Thursday.

Don't miss any of the action ... STAY ON Bryant Athletics by staying connected!

JUST IN: ACT is offering two additional test dates: October 17 & 25.
