🎉 Congratulations to Emily in 6th grade for winning our Library Solar Eclipse Guessing Jar! Students have been guessing how many marshmallows are in the "moon" for #SchoolLibraryMonth and Emily guessed there were 1,117. Yesterday, Mrs. Weaver tried to play an April Fools' prank on her 6th grade accelerated math students, but it went horribly wrong! 😉 She accidentally shrunk some of our teachers and staff! Then, while trying to fix it, she made some of them huge!! Thankfully, her students saved the day and were able to use scale factor to figure out where she went wrong. 📣 Bethel Middle School will be collecting non-perishable breakfast foods for the 2024 THV11 Summer Cereal Drive all this month! ☀️ Students can donate boxes of cereal, granola bars, cereal bars, instant oatmeal, and toaster pastries in their 1st period class. This year, we are going to have some fun while we give back to our community! We are having a contest!! The grade level with the most donations wins an extra recess and the Top 5 students with most donations get a chance to throw water balloons at Mr. Sims and Mr. Nivens! Let's go Bethel Hornets!! 🥣💙
