💙 We are celebrating #PublicSchoolsWeek at Bethel, and here's just one reason why...
Mrs. McClain, 7th grade Science and Keyboarding teacher, shares her story:
"Growing up, my elementary years weren’t always easy. My father was very ill for most of that time, and I missed a lot of school. But what stood out the most were the teachers who showed me how much they cared. Their compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on me, and it inspired me to do the same for my students. As a public school teacher, I know that teaching goes far beyond lessons and textbooks. We wear many hats — educator, role model, listener, band-aid giver — all in the name of supporting the whole child. It’s not just about academics; it’s about understanding each student’s unique needs, both in and out of the classroom, and creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Every day, I strive to be the kind of teacher who makes a difference, just like those who believed in me."

Our team has been assessing road conditions this afternoon. While most roads in the district are clear, others remain hazardous. For the safety of our students and staff, Bryant Schools will be closed on Friday, February 21.
This is the final inclement weather day built into our approved 2024-25 calendar. We hope no additional weather-related closures are needed. However, if more days are missed, they will be added to the end of the school year.
