Bryant Junior High math teacher and basketball coach Sontreka Johnson has earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Assessment, Learning, and Student Success, with a concentration in Higher Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
After successfully defending her dissertation earlier this month, she has officially earned the title of Ed.D.—a tremendous accomplishment!

Bryant High School is expanding its partnership with Arkansas State University Three Rivers to give students even more opportunities to succeed.
Starting with the Class of 2029, students can graduate with BOTH a high school diploma AND an Associate’s Degree—earning up to 60 college credit hours along the way. Current 9th-grade students will receive an email with an application link.

Big win for BJHS Robotics!
This past Saturday at Arkansas Tech University, Bryant Junior High competed in the VEX Middle School Robotics State Championship.
Team 1338X X-HEAT brought home the Design Award and earned a spot at the VEX World Championship this April!
We’re proud of all our BJHS teams for representing Bryant, and good luck at the championship!

What an incredible day on the court! 🏀💙
Our students had an amazing time competing in yesterday’s basketball game with Special Olympics! The gym was full of energy, encouragement, and smiles as our athletes showed great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
We are so proud of every player who stepped onto the court and gave it their all. Events like this remind us that sports are about more than just winning—they’re about building confidence, supporting one another, and celebrating everyone’s abilities.
Thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who helped make this day so special for our athletes. Way to go, everyone! 🎉👏
