September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to bring attention to pediatric cancer, the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14. The color gold and the gold ribbon are symbols of support for children affected with cancer. All Hornets are asked to #GoGold on Friday, September 23 to show your support. Wear gold clothing/accessories or wear a gold ribbon. We are asking students to donate $1 and staff to donate $2. All donations will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Child Life Department to support children with cancer and their families.

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is hosting a meet-and-greet on Tuesday, September 20, 6pm, at Bryant Elementary School. Learn more about the FREE program and services provided for children ages birth - five (not kindergarten eligible.)

Buses may run behind the first week of school. We have many new drivers and riders, so delays should be expected in the afternoons. All students will be dropped off safely, but it may be a later time than anticipated. Bus drop off times will continue to improve as we move past the first week. Thank you for your patience as we work to transport over 4,500 students to school and home each day. We hope your Hornets had a great first day of school!

Bus routes and bus stop times are now available in infoFinder i. Locate infoFinder i through the Bryant Public Schools app or at bryantschools.org/page/transportation. Select Bus Routes. Our Transportation team members will be available at open houses this week to answer your questions. Call the Transportation Office at 653-5150 for assistance or additional information.
