Parkway Elementary invites you to Celebrate the Arts Family Night on Thursday, March 12th from 5:30–7:30 PM!
The evening will begin at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria with a special performance by the PES Choir, and then families can explore the school and enjoy a variety of exciting exhibits and activities, including:
🎨 Art Show, Face Painting, and Art Activities – Gym
🎵 Instrument Petting Zoo & Composer Showcase – Music Room / Music Hallway
📚 Scholastic Book Fair – Library
🏓 Pickleball Fun – Gym & Basketball Court

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year opens next week, and we can't wait to welcome our newest Hornets! Online registration opens at 8:00 AM on March 4. Our 2025–2026 school calendar now includes one additional makeup day. We’ve used 6 inclement weather days (5 were built in), so one day has been added to the end of the year.
🗓️ The last day of school is now Friday, May 22.

🎺🎶 5th Grade Instrument Tryout Night – What an Exciting Start! 🎶🎺
Last night our amazing 5th graders took their first big step toward their band journey at Instrument Tryout Night! It was so much fun watching students explore different instruments, try new sounds, and start discovering which instrument might be the perfect fit for them. The excitement in the room was contagious!
If your child wasn’t able to attend, don’t worry! There are several additional Instrument Tryout Nights happening at other schools. Be sure to check the dates and locations so your student doesn’t miss this opportunity to join the band family.
