Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, helps close the hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not getting nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children in the form of pre-loaded cards, with a one-time benefit of $120 per eligible child. 📣 Congratulations to Dilcia Lara – Recipient of the Stephanie McCombs Memorial Scholarship! 💙 Stephanie McCombs served Bryant Public Schools with compassion and dedication, first as a special education paraprofessional (2016–2024) and then as a teacher at Hill Farm Elementary. Her love for students, positive attitude, and deep commitment to both her family and school family made her a shining example of what every educator should strive to be. To honor her legacy, the Stephanie McCombs Memorial Scholarship was established through private donations. It supports Bryant special education paraprofessionals who are continuing their education to become licensed special education teachers. This year’s recipient is Dilcia Lara, a dedicated paraprofessional at Parkway Elementary. For the past 3 years, Ms. Lara has shown unwavering passion for student success, holding herself and her team to high standards. Her kindness, resilience, and drive to grow professionally make her the perfect choice for this honor. Congratulations, Ms. Lara! We’re proud of you and excited for your future in education. 🌟📚
