The Davis Elementary Dolphins have been added to our Heartsafe schools!
Davis Elementary received their Project Adam, Heartsafe School Designation on Thursday, November 2. In partnership with Shannon Hills Fire Department and Pafford EMS, DES staff successfully completed their Heartsafe School certification drill this morning.
The CERT team is composed of a wide variety of the DES team members with Nurse Amy Walker leading the way. Through the efforts of our Nursing Department, we plan to have all schools in the district designated as Heart Safe as soon as possible.

Bryant Elementary was awarded the trophy for collecting the most jars of peanut butter in the annual Salt Bowl Peanut Butter Drive. The winning total from BES was 3,183 jars!
Shane Broadway presented the trophy. Great job, Bryant Elementary students and staff!


Bryant Elementary has been named a Special Olympics National Banner Unified School for their commitment to inclusion! Tickets are $5 per guest and must be purchased by Friday, November 10. Tickets should be purchased at the school office where you will be having lunch.


October is #NationalPrincipalsMonth, and we close out the month with a highlight of another amazing administrator - Dr. Lindsey McBride at Parkway Elementary.
